UC researchers have found that more than 30
percent of U.S. public schools are within a quarter mile of major
highways putting students at risk of respiratory diseases. Research has shown that proximity to major highways—and thus environmental pollutants, such as aerosolizing diesel exhaust particles—can leave school-age children more susceptible to respiratory diseases later in life. For many years, our focus has been on homes when it comes to air pollution. School attendance may result in a large dose of
inhaled traffic pollutants that—until now—have been completely
overlooked. |

Testing an air filter saves you money. Most air filters are changed out to soon. Here I measure a 1 month old dirty air filter for wattage and particle count. The Air Filter should have been left in the system for another month. My filter testing service prevents replacing air filters that still have useful life. I can save you money on unnecessary air filter changes. I can test an air filter after it's been in service for a month, 2 months, or 3 months and determine if it needs to be replaced based on wattage / energy cost or particle count at 0.5 microns. |
